～さいたまに来て、見て、感じて～

Japanese Speech Contest in Saitama City

In this contest, foreign residents give original speeches in Japanese in which they share their thoughts on and impressions of everyday life in Japan.

Eligibility: Persons who satisfy ALL of the following conditions: 1) Mother tongue is not Japanese; 2) Residing, working or attending school in Saitama City; 3) Junior high school student or older.

Contestants: 10 (applicants subject to screening if applicants exceed 10)
Venue: Multipurpose Hall, Urawa Community Center (COMUNALE 10F)
Date/Time: beginning of February (Sat.) 1pm～4pm
Application Forms: Available at the IEC and the International Division of Saitama City (City Hall, 5F). Forms can also be downloaded from IEC website from 1st October to end of November.
Deadline: end of November
